01 — The Problem

What we were solving

Modern clinics and hospitals operate across disconnected systems — patient records in one place, appointments in another, billing somewhere else, and lab results arriving by phone. The result is administrative overhead that pulls staff away from patient care, creates data gaps, and makes compliance with healthcare regulations increasingly difficult as clinics grow.

02 — The Approach

How we approached it

We designed SwasthyAI as a unified ecosystem rather than another point tool. The goal was to connect every stakeholder in the patient journey — from hospital administration to the doctor at the consultation table to the pharmacy at discharge — on a single integrated platform, without requiring clinics to migrate off everything they already use.

03 — What We Built

What we built

A full-stack healthcare SaaS platform covering the complete patient lifecycle. Live modules include: Hospital & Clinic Management (staff, settings, billing, multi-branch), Patient EMR & Records (electronic medical records, prescriptions, complete history), Doctor Workflow (appointment management, patient notes, digital prescriptions, analytics), and Billing & Analytics (revenue tracking, subscription management, performance dashboards). Coming soon: Lab Integration (pathology reports linked to patient records) and Pharmacy Integration (prescription-linked orders and inventory). Key features include AI-powered Smart Scheduling with real-time conflict detection, a digital walk-in queue with SMS notifications, and Multi-Clinic SaaS admin for managing multiple branches. The platform is built for regulated healthcare — HIPAA, GDPR, DPDP Act 2023 (India), UAE Health Data Law, SOC 2 Type II ready, and ISO 27001 baseline. Security architecture includes AES-256-GCM field-level encryption, immutable SHA-256 audit logs with 6-year retention, patient consent management, Right to be Forgotten (GDPR Art. 17), data portability, and multi-region data residency.

04 — Outcome

What we achieved

A production-grade healthcare platform with 500+ clinics already onboard, covering the full care journey from registration to pharmacy. Four modules live, two in active development. The platform scales from solo practitioners to multi-branch hospital chains under a single admin dashboard.

06 — Reflection

What we learned

Healthcare is where software has the highest stakes. Every architectural decision — from encryption to audit trails to access control — has real consequences for real patients. Building SwasthyAI taught us that compliance is not a checkbox but a design constraint that, when taken seriously from day one, produces better software in every other dimension too.
